Haiping Ni

VP of Finance & Administration at NEXT Renewable Fuels

Haiping Ni has diverse work experience in various industries, starting with their current role as VP of Finance & Administration at NEXT Renewable Fuels since March 2021. Haiping is responsible for overseeing the development of a 600 MM gallon per year advanced bio-fuel refinery.

Prior to joining NEXT Renewable Fuels, Haiping held the position of Director at WE Innovation Group, Inc since September 2018. Haiping has also served as the Managing Director at REI Investments, LLC since March 2017, focusing on oil and gas upstream investments, development, and renewable energy deals.

From February 2014 to August 2016, Haiping was the Vice President of Finance/Co-Founder at LSNA Energy Group, LLC, an oil and gas exploration and development company. Haiping played a key role in acquiring and developing oil and natural gas properties in North America.

Before LSNA Energy Group, Haiping was the Managing Director at Access America Investments, LLC, a fund management and advisory service company. During their tenure from June 2006 to March 2014, they evaluated numerous deals, led investments in pre-IPO stage companies, and sourced deals from Asian countries.

Additionally, Haiping pursued an MBA from Jesse Johnes Graduate School of Management between 2004 and 2006. Haiping gained early professional experience as an intern at Aquinas Corporation, an early venture development company focusing on biotech and IT.

Haiping's career began in 1997 with their role as Vice Director at TEDA Shanghai Office in Tianjin Economic & Technological Development Area. Haiping managed North America and Europe accounts, facilitated foreign direct investment deals, and incorporated foreign-funded companies. Haiping also represented China in various conferences and events related to investment.

Prior to their role at TEDA Shanghai Office, Haiping worked as a Lecturer at Tianjin Youth Professionals College from 1996 to 1997.

Haiping Ni completed a BA in English/Education from Tianjin Foreign Studies University, spanning from 1992 to 1996. Following that, from 2004 to 2006, Haiping Ni pursued an MBA in Business Administration at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business.
