Ahmed Badr has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Ahmed currently works as a Lead Software Engineer and DevOps Engineer at Next Structural Integrity Inc. Ahmed previously worked as a Sessional Lecturer and Research and Teaching Assistant at Ontario Tech University, where they were involved in IoT Research Lab and developed a real-time monitoring platform. Ahmed also worked as a Software Engineer at SSTM Egypt, where they designed and implemented Android applications and IoT admin panels. Ahmed served as an Android Basic Mentor at Udacity, guiding students in the Android Basics Nano Degree Program. Additionally, Ahmed was a Research and Teaching Assistant at The German University in Cairo, where they worked on MISbehavior detection in IoT environments and taught various courses. Ahmed also had teaching assistant roles at The German University in Cairo and ITS Research Group. Ahmed started their career as a Web Developer intern at OTAKU DEV.
Ahmed Badr obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ontario Tech University from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Networks Engineering from The German University in Cairo from 2016 to 2018. Ahmed also holds a Bachelor's degree in Networks Engineering from the same institution, which they earned from 2011 to 2016. Ahmed Badr completed their high school education at D.E.L.S, earning a Thanwya Amma (Score: 98.6%) certificate from 1998 to 2012. Additionally, they have certifications in Android Development Nanodegree from Udacity in 2017 and Developing Android Apps from the same institution.
