Waleed Mekky

Waleed Mekky has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Waleed is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Next Structural Integrity Inc., a position they have held since 2018. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Professor at McMaster University starting in 2010, where they supervised several graduate thesis projects and received grants for research projects.

Waleed Mekky obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Military Technical Academy in Egypt in 1992. Waleed then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution in 1998. In 2005, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Material Science and Engineering from McMaster University. Additionally, they hold two certifications as a Professional Engineer, one from Professional Engineers Ontario and another from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
