Ilan Laufer

Ilan Laufer began their career in 2010 as a Team Leader in the Career and Pensioners salaries Regulation department of the Israel Defense Forces. Ilan then worked as a Senior Analyst in the Financial Planning and Analysis Department of the Israeli Ministry of Defense from 2013 to 2016. After that, they joined Invest In Israel, Ministry of Economy, where they served as the head of the professional practice from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they became the Director of Finance for Walla! NEWS. Currently, they are the Head of FP&A and VP Finance at Nextage TLV, a position they have held since December 2020.

Ilan Laufer completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Financial Mathematics from Bar-Ilan University. Ilan studied at this institution from 2012 to 2014. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting, with a CPA qualification, from the University of Haifa, spanning from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Laufer also obtained a certification in International Tax Law from Leiden University, which was completed through an online course offered by Coursera. This certification was obtained in April 2018.
