Marcos Gabarri has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Marcos began their career as a Producer Assistant at Spier Films in 2008, where they gained experience in customer service. Marcos then moved on to work as a Sound Technician Assistant at París 15, where they honed their skills in sound engineering. Marcos also worked as a Sound Technician at Mangafest, operating audio equipment and ensuring sound quality during events.
In 2013, Marcos transitioned into the culinary field and worked as a Chef at PUB ENTERPRISES LIMITED, preparing a variety of dishes and managing a busy pub kitchen. Marcos continued their culinary career at Edinburgh Leisure, where they served as a Chef and Baker at EICA, catering for large events and managing stock levels at various cafes within the arena.
In 2016, Marcos entered the gaming industry as a Localisation Game Tester at Pole To Win International, where they proofread video game translations while playing the games. Marcos further expanded their technical skills by working as a Bilingual Technical Support Agent and Stand-in Trainer at Sykes Enterprises Inc., providing technical support for Lenovo and Motorola devices and training new colleagues.
Marcos then moved on to Imaweb, where they served as a Helpdesk Agent, providing technical support for users of a CRM software developed for the automotive industry. Marcos also gained experience in bug reporting and resolving customer queries.
In 2015, Marcos co-founded Editorial GameReport, an independent Spanish publisher focused on video games, where they contributed as a Writer, Editor, and Podcaster. Marcos wrote reviews, features, and opinion essays, showcasing their critical thinking skills and highlighting the cultural significance of video games.
Most recently, Marcos joined Nextail in 2019. Marcos started as a Technical Support Agent, providing one-on-one support to colleagues and users of various applications. Marcos later became a ServiceDesk Agent, where they took on the role of Nextail's product expert and resolved user issues while monitoring SLA's. Marcos then progressed to Senior Customer Experience Agent, handling complex queries about Nextail's algorithm, documenting internal processes, and reporting bugs to the development teams. Currently, they hold the position of Junior Customer Success Manager at Nextail.

From 2008 to 2012, they studied at Universidad de Málaga and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies.
In the period from 2009 to 2011, Marcos also attended I.E.S. Politécnico Jesús Marín, specializing in the field of Sound as part of their education in Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, they attended I.E.S. La Vaguada, where they focused on Filmmaking as their area of study in Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
Additionally, Marcos has obtained several certifications throughout their education journey. In April 2022, they received a certification in Coding for Beginners (Python) from CodeClan. In March 2022, they obtained an ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
Furthermore, in December 2015, Marcos received an SVQ 3 Food and Drink Operations (Bakery Skills) certification from Scottish Bakers.
