Laszlo Szalontai

Laszlo Szalontai has extensive work experience in sales and leadership roles. Laszlo is currently the Vice President of Sales for Europe at Nextbase, a market-leading company in connected car technology. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Sales for the CEE Region at Nextbase, where they contributed to the significant growth of sales in Dash Cams. Previously, they held positions at TomTom as the Regional Sales Head for CEE & SEE and the Category Sales Manager for EMEA & LATAM in the Sports BU. Laszlo also worked as the Director of International Sales at Nicoccino, a Swedish company providing alternative smoking products. Additionally, they served as the Sales Director for CEE, CIS & MEA at DICOTA and OSM, where they successfully managed key account teams and exceeded sales targets. With Nokia, they held the position of Head of Multimedia Sales for the Middle East and Key Account Manager for GSM operators in Hungary. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Sales Manager at Samsung Electronics, responsible for marketing and sales activities for information-telecommunication products.

Laszlo Szalontai pursued their education starting from 1991 to 1995, attending the International Business School. Laszlo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics during this time. Following this, they continued their educational journey from 2003 to 2005 at the Corvinus University of Budapest. During this period, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Telecommunications Management.
