Jenn Amador

Jenn Amador has a range of work experience, starting with their current role as the Chief Operating Officer at NEXTC CORPORATION, which they have held since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Program Facilitator at ecosVC, where they collaborated with Dr. Judy Giordan to facilitate the Stage 1+ Lens of the Market program for undergraduate science students. Jenn'srole involved teaching students the language of the market and providing them with essential skills for post-graduation success.

Before their time at ecosVC, Jenn was involved in research roles at Oregon State University and the University of Utah. At Oregon State University, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher from January 2018 to July 2019, focusing on developing and characterizing new materials for inorganic photoresists and thin-film transistors. Jenn also conducted research into the solubility behavior of thin film resists and their radiolytic behavior. Prior to their postdoctoral work, Jenn was a Graduate Student at Oregon State University from September 2011 to December 2017, where they worked under Dr. Douglas Keszler in the Center for Sustainable Materials.

In addition to their research experience, Jenn's earlier work includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah from July 2010 to July 2011. In this role, they worked under the guidance of Dr. David Riassetto in the Bartl lab, focusing on the development of a biphasic route for silica encapsulation of quantum dots.

Jenn Amador has an extensive education history in the field of chemistry. Jenn began their journey at the University of Utah in 2007 and successfully completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry in 2011. Following this, they pursued further specialization and enrolled at Oregon State University from 2011 to 2017. At Oregon State University, Jenn Amador dedicated herself to studying Materials Chemistry and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
