Principle Engineer at NextCure

Kendall McWilliams began their work experience at Target in 2012 as a Flow Team Member. They were responsible for unloading the truck, maintaining product inventory on the sales floor, and correcting any mistakes made by others. In 2021, Kendall moved on to NextCure, Inc. as a Process Development Engineer. They then advanced to the role of Process Engineer II, where they enhanced workflows, managed laboratory inventory, automated liquid handling platforms, and implemented Microsoft Project for project visualization. In their current role as Process Engineer III, Kendall continues to support the team, develop new molecules, create supporting documentation, conduct experiments, and collaborate with quality control.

Kendall McWilliams has a strong academic background in engineering. Kendall attended Oakland Mills High School from 2008 to 2012. After high school, Kendall pursued further education at Howard Community College from 2013 to 2018, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Engineering. Following this, Kendall continued their studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2018 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Additionally, in March 2015, Kendall obtained a certification to use laser cutters, although the institution from which the certification was obtained is not specified.
