Ben Werleman

Ben Werleman has over 9 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Ben started their career as a Business Improvement Advisor at the City of Newcastle, Australia, where they introduced a business excellence program and conducted process modelling and mapping. Ben then worked as an Implementation Consultant/Account Manager at TransLogix, leading finance ERP implementations and providing consulting services. Later, they joined WesTrac Cat as a Commercial Contracts and Business Transformation Project Manager, where they assisted in the provision of commercial and contractual advice, as well as strategy formulation. Ben then joined Woolworths Group as a National Contracts, Risk and Compliance manager, responsible for legal requirements, risk management, and strategic sourcing. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Procurement at NEXTDC, with leadership responsibilities for procurement, supply chain, and contract management, including strategy formulation and managing capital deployment. Ben has also developed frameworks for strategic vendor and relationship management. Throughout their career, Ben has consistently contributed to commercial and contract management strategies and executed business improvement initiatives.

Ben Werleman earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Charles Sturt University. Ben then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management from the same university, which they completed between 2013 and 2017.
