Jan Ove Børresen

Jan Ove Børresen has over 25 years of work experience, with their most recent position being the Head of Procurement at Speira since June 2021. Prior to that, they held the same position at Norsk Hydro for 10 years. Jan Ove also worked as a Principal Consultant Strategic Procurement at Equinor from 2009 to 2011. Earlier in their career, they served various roles at Norsk Hydro including Procurement Manager, Manager of Business Controller, Contract Administrator, Customer Responsible, and Accounting and Cost Control.

Jan Ove Børresen began their education history by earning a Cand.mag. degree in management and law from the University of Bergen (UiB) between 1990 and 1994. Jan Ove then pursued a Bachelor of management in Organizational Leadership from BI Norwegian Business School, completing it from 1998 to 2001. Prior to this, from 1989 to 1990, they obtained a Skilled worker certificate in Kjemiprosess from Opplæringsnemd Rogaland. Lastly, from 1987 to 1989, Jan Ove Børresen studied Economy and administration at Næringsakademiet Stavanger/Haugesund.
