David is a highly accomplished executive with a distinguished career in Australia and across Asia Pacific.

David has extensive experience in the technology industry, including Cloud computing, data centre and colocation, Cloud brokerage services, new market entry and risk management. As NEXTDC’s Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, David is responsible for the end-to-end customer experience and lifecycle, and driving the strategic direction for NEXTDC's revenue and customer facing organisation, which comprises the sales, marketing, delivery, security, products, customer experience and customer success teams.

NEXTDC is widely known for their commitment to providing best-in-class quality and exemplary service to organisations. As a customer-first organisation, David works closely with NEXTDC’s key customers and verticals, leveraging his comprehensive understanding of the customer and industry, to closely align the corporate and customer strategy. David champions a strategic approach to partnering, working closely with NEXTDC’s customers to support their long-term cloud and transformation strategies, and helping them to achieve their desired outcomes.

David’s focus is building a unified voice of the customer across the organisation, with a close focus on deepening customer engagement and partner relationships.

Prior to joining NEXTDC, David was based in Hong Kong as the Vice President and General Manager, at Parallels, a virtualisation and cloud automation technology company.

Before his time at Parallels, David held several senior positions at Symantec where he achieved tremendous growth and success for the business. David was instrumental in establishing Symantec in ANZ as a leading provider of security and storage solutions. His most recent position was Vice President – Sales (Channel/SMB/GSP) in APJ. Prior to that, David was the Senior Director – Enterprise Sales and Partners in APAC, responsible for driving revenue and operational best practice in the enterprise and channel business across ANZ.
