Raquel Couri

Raquel Couri has extensive work experience in various human resources roles. Raquel started their career as an HR Advisor at CNC - Confederação Nacional do Comércio de Bens, Serviços e Turismo in 1999. Raquel then moved on to DSND CONSUB / Subsea 7 as an HR Business Partner before joining Icatu Seguros in 2002 as a Lead HR Advisor. At Icatu Seguros, they were responsible for generalist HR tasks and the company's development agenda. In 2003, they joined BG Group as a Human Resources Director, overseeing the HR function for the BG upstream asset in Brazil and regional HR leadership in South American countries. Raquel later took on the role of Vice President of Human Resources at BG Group, where they led global HR teams and managed HR functions for the trading and shipping business unit. In 2017, they worked as a Human Resources Executive on sabbatical before joining NextDecade in 2018 as the SVP of Human Resources and Administration.

Raquel Couri's education history includes an MBA in Executive General Business Management from COPPEAD UFRJ, which they pursued from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, in 1998, they completed a Post Graduation in Human Resources Management at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Raquel'sundergraduate degree, obtained from 1993 to 1997, is in Psychology from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora.
