Addison Klinke

Addison Klinke has diverse work experience in the fields of machine learning, data science, and engineering. They most recently worked at Nextdoor as a Machine Learning Engineer starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at BallerTV from November 2021 to March 2023. Addison also worked at Rekor Systems as a Machine Learning Engineer from December 2020 to November 2021, and as a Junior Machine Learning Engineer from December 2018 to December 2020. They had a brief role as a Machine Learning Consultant at Optfit LLC from August 2018 to December 2018. Before that, Addison was a Data Scientist at the Solar Durability and Lifetime Extension Center from October 2016 to May 2018. They also gained experience as an Engineering Business Strategy Intern at Janicki Industries from May 2016 to July 2016. Early in their career, they held internships as an R&D and QC Engineering Intern at Cascade Designs in 2015 and as an Engineering Design Intern at Tarptent Ultralight Shelters in 2014.

Addison Klinke received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Summa Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University in the period from 2013 to 2017. Following this, Addison pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, Addison also participated in the Deep Learning Specialization program at Coursera.

In terms of additional certifications, Addison obtained the following: Apache Spark Essential Training, Getting Started with Kubernetes, Learn Apache Kafka for Beginners, and CJIS Level 4 certification. These certifications were obtained respectively in February 2023 and November 2019. Additionally, Addison achieved the SolidWorks Associate-Mechanical Design certification in April 2014.
