Alex Barkin has a diverse work experience starting from 2013 as a Youth Service Leader at First Narayever Congregation. In 2016, Alex worked as a Junior Councillor at Diller Teen Fellows - Israel. In 2018, Alex gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at Design Plastics International Inc, where they focused on designing and creating retail displays. Alex then pursued various Software Engineering Co-Op roles at Wave HQ, specializing in Accounting and Machine Learning, from 2019 to 2020. In 2021, Alex worked as a Software Engineering Co-Op at Ford Motor Company, specifically in the SYNC department. Additionally, Alex completed a Software Engineering internship at Nextdoor in 2021, and later transitioned to a full-time role as a Software Engineer at Nextdoor in 2022.
