Artem Kofanov

Artem Kofanov is a finance and operations professional with extensive experience in product strategy and investment. Currently serving in the Finance, Strategy, & Operations role for the Monetization Product at Nextdoor since July 2023, Kofanov previously contributed to a stealth startup focusing on product strategy and behavioral science earlier in 2023. An MBA intern at Shipt in mid-2022, Kofanov led the establishment of a Market Intelligence function. Prior experience includes working as an investor for a $10 billion sovereign private equity fund from 2017 to 2021, developing investment strategies at Sistema, and roles at Moody's Investors Service and Intel Corporation. Kofanov holds an MBA from The Wharton School with a double major in Operations and Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics from the Higher School of Economics. Further education includes studies at the Centre of Quantitative Finance at Moscow State University, with a target focus in eCommerce, fintech, rental, and real estate industries.
