Austin Bisharat

Austin Bisharat has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Austin is currently working as a Software Engineer at Nextdoor since 2021. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Mode. From 2018 to 2019, they held the same role at Aspen Designs. Austin also has experience working at Nextdoor from 2017 to 2018, where they wrote and maintained search infrastructure, trained machine learning models, and mentored an engineering intern.

Before their professional career, Austin worked as a CSE 14x Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington from 2014 to 2016. Austin also had internships at Nextdoor in 2016, Jut, Inc. in 2015, Neustar, Inc. in 2014, and Hearsay Social in 2012. These internships provided him with experience in full-stack engineering, implementing RESTful APIs, coding multithreaded Java applications, and analyzing data using Python.

Additionally, Austin has a background as a magician, having worked as a Magician at Austin Bisharat Entertainment from 2008 to 2012.

Austin Bisharat attended the University of Washington from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science.
