Janet A.

Janet A. is an accomplished author and communications professional with extensive experience in writing, community engagement, and media analysis. Since January 2017, Janet has been a Kindle book author, managing all design and marketing aspects independently. As a Lead at Nextdoor, Janet has successfully established Pawling, NY as a Certified Community and fostered growth in surrounding areas since October 2016. Additionally, Janet contributes as a blogger for PBS MediaShift and the New York Journal of Books, focusing on media and technology topics. Previous roles include moderating discussions for InformationWeek and writing for various corporate blogs and historical publications. Janet holds an Ed.D. in Communication from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an MA in American History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
