Krish Sailam has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Krish currently works at Nextdoor as the Marketing Technology & Operations Lead. Prior to this, Krish worked as a Programmatic / Customer Experience Management Consultant for an undisclosed company in 2020.

Between 2018 and 2021, Krish held multiple roles at DWA / Merkle / dentsu, including SVP of Global Programmatic Solutions / Data Tech & Tools and Global VP of Programmatic. In these positions, Krish was responsible for driving programmatic strategies, managing AdTech vendor relationships, and guiding product development.

Before joining DWA, Krish worked at Cadreon as the VP of Programmatic Strategy - West Coast and Director of Product Management. Krish played a key role in developing programmatic product lines and building relationships with tech vendors.

Krish also has experience as the Founder of Absolute Variety, LLC, where they provided marketing consulting services to small and large enterprises. Additionally, they worked as the VP of Mobile at MobilePlay, a division of Tightrope Interactive, and as the Director of Sales at Phunware, Inc.

Earlier in their career, Krish worked at Tightrope Interactive as the Director of Lead Generation / General Manager of EDU Vertical, and at Tribal Fusion / Exponential Interactive as a Business Development Manager.

Throughout their career, Krish has demonstrated expertise in programmatic advertising, data management platforms, mobile app development, and marketing strategy.

Krish Sailam has an extensive education history. Krish earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics and Marketing from Babson College, completing their studies in 2000. Prior to that, they attended Marlboro High School, where they obtained a specialized diploma in Business Administration. Krish also briefly studied Japanese Studies at Waseda University in 1999.

Continuing their education, Krish pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics, graduating in 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Krish Sailam has acquired several certifications over the years. Notably, in 2016, they obtained the Google DoubleClick Bid Manager Mobile Certification. Krish also completed the IPG - Mediabrands - Cadreon Programmatic Omni-Channel Trainer certification through Cadreon in 2017.

More recently, Krish has obtained various certifications related to AI, marketing, and workplace topics through LinkedIn. These include certifications in Ethics in the Age of Generative AI, Generative AI: The Evolution of Thoughtful Online Search, Streamlining Your Work with Microsoft Bing Chat, and What Is Generative AI? All of these certifications were obtained in July 2023. Additionally, in January 2021, Krish completed the Advanced Product Marketing, Create a Go-To-Market Plan (2017), and Customer Experience: Journey Mapping certifications. In September 2020, they obtained the Difficult Conversations: Talking About Race at Work certification.

Furthermore, Krish Sailam holds the Edge Academy Certified: Data-Driven Planning certification from The Trade Desk, obtained in May 2020, as well as the Demandbase Account Based Marketing (ABM) Foundations Certification from Demandbase, earned in January 2020.
