Rebecca Chen

Rebecca Chen began their work experience in 2016 as a CS 61A Lab Assistant/Academic Intern at UC Berkeley. In 2017, they interned as an Explorer Intern at Microsoft, where they gained experience in the graphics pipeline, imaging libraries, and HLSL programming. In 2018, Rebecca interned at Nextdoor as a Software Engineering Intern, working on projects involving user management functionality and backend Django APIs. Rebecca then went on to intern at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer Intern, where they improved the customer experience for device discovery in the Alexa Skill Store and gained technical and engineering experience in building backend services using AWS. In 2019, Rebecca joined Nextdoor as a Software Engineer.

Rebecca Chen attended Valencia High School from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a high school degree. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
