Shan Li

Shan Li has a strong background in machine learning and engineering. They began their work experience as a Machine Learning Intern at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where they worked on the development of a DeepQA system in Medical Application based on NLP technology. They then worked as a Research Assistant at Tsinghua University, focusing on fully automated macular pathology detection in retina OCT images. Shan Li continued their machine learning journey as a Machine Learning Intern at Beihang University, where they researched and applied feature extraction and pattern matching in iris recognition. They also interned at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, working on the frontend and backend development of an O2O Sale and Service Website for elevators and components.

Shan Li furthered their education at Carnegie Mellon University, where they pursued a Master's degree. During their time there, they focused on machine learning, deep learning, and parallel/system programming. Shan Li has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, which was earned between 2017 and 2019. They also have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Beihang University, which was obtained between 2013 and 2017. In addition, Shan Li has obtained a certification in Stanford Natural Language Understanding from Stanford University in May 2020. In 2020, Shan Li attended Stanford University for further education in Computer Science, but it is not specified whether they obtained a degree from there.
