Sr. Test Engineer at Nextek

Daniel Draffen has been working in the engineering industry since 1978. Daniel began their career at Dresser Atlas as an Associate Test Engineer, where they designed manual and automated test fixtures for the manufacturing test of various oil well sensing apparatus. Daniel then moved to Teledyne Advanced Electronic Solutions in 1980, where they developed and maintained automated test equipment used for high volume manufacturing of IBM PC Junior and other products including aerospace and industrial. In 1985, they took a position at Sensormatic Electronics as a Design Engineer. After that, they joined Avex Electronics Corp in 1989 as a Sr. Test Engineer, where they designed automated test systems hardware including for functional testing and ESS, and developed related software programs using C++ and Visual Basic. Lastly, they moved to Nextek, Incorporated in 2000 as a Sr. Test Engineer, where they developed flying probe tests on SPEA flying probe machine and designed software programs, primarily in C++ for test executive programs and factory automation support. In 2022, Daniel published a book titled "Wall Triana - An Epic Journey to the Edge of Forever", which is available on Amazon.

Daniel Draffen attended the University of Houston, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
