Zane Williams

Zane Williams, CPA, CMI, MACC has a diverse work experience in various roles. Zane started their career as a Tax Associate at Grant Thornton LLP in 2005 before moving on to work as a Fraud Analyst at the Florida Office of the Attorney General. In 2008, they joined Ryan, LLC as a Senior Complex Property Consultant, where they specialized in property tax compliance and valuation, client service relationship management, and financial statement analysis. Zane then worked at Verizon Communication as a Corporate Transformation Accountant, where they prepared accounting reports and supported SOX compliance efforts. In 2014, they joined Transaction Tax & Revenue Recovery Group, LLC as a Managing Director, focusing on managing the transaction tax function for clients in various sectors. Currently, Zane is working as a Senior Financial Controller in the CFO Organization at NextEra Energy Services, where they prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for affiliated entities and supports external reporting requirements.

Zane Williams, CPA, CMI, MACC, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University in 2003. Zane then pursued a Masters degree in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University, which they completed in 2005. In addition to their academic qualifications, Zane has obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Public Accountant and a Senior Texas Property Tax Consultant. Zane is also a Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
