Ibiza Murphy

Ibiza Murphy has over a decade of experience in emergency preparedness and safety, currently serving as the Director of Emergency Preparedness & Safety at NextEra Energy, Inc. since November 2012. Previously, Ibiza held various roles within NextEra Energy, including Senior Manager of Emergency Preparedness and Manager of Corporate Security Intelligence & Finance. Ibiza began a career in public service with the Palm Beach County School District Police Department as a Crime Analyst from March 2008 to October 2012, and earlier worked at the Office of the State Attorney 15th Judicial Circuit focusing on Combat Unit/Money Laundering. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Criminology from Florida State University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Florida Atlantic University, along with certification from the FDLE Analyst Academy.
