Javier Santos Rafecas

Javier Santos Rafecas is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with a strong background in project estimation, asset management, and procurement. Currently serving as a Senior Project Estimator at NextEra Energy, Inc. since December 2021, Javier previously held roles including Project Estimator and Global Project Engineer at Enel Green Power, where management of multidisciplinary teams and technical problem resolution were key responsibilities. Javier’s expertise extends to managing photovoltaic assets at Vela Energy, optimizing plant performance, and overseeing procurement processes at Enel Green Power. An undergraduate degree in Energy Engineering was obtained from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, followed by a Master's in Renewable Energy Engineering from Cranfield University.
