Mandiel Lastra

Mandiel Lastra is an experienced Information Technology professional with a diverse background in cybersecurity, architecture, and automation. Since joining NextEra Energy, Inc. in May 2015, Lastra has held multiple roles, including Information Technology Manager (Architecture, Hosting & Automation - Grid Control Technologies), IT Technology Leader (Cybersecurity Technology), Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst/IAM Technical Lead, and Cybersecurity Analyst. Prior to this, Lastra worked at Bank of America as a Professional Teller and had earlier experience as a College Intern at NextEra Energy and a Student Assistant at Florida International University. Lastra began a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems at Florida Atlantic University in August 2022, following the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Florida International University in 2015.
