Nina Williams (SP, PMP, ITIL, CSM)

Nina Williams has a diverse work experience in the IT field, with a focus on solution delivery, release management, and project management. Nina is currently working at NextGear Capital as the Director of Solution Delivery, leading a team in delivering solutions. Prior to this, they served as the Lead Release Train Engineer and Senior Release Train Engineer at the same company.

Before joining NextGear Capital, Nina worked at BCforward as a Sr. Scrum Master, where they contributed to the enhancement of IT teams' delivery capabilities through effective leadership and stakeholder management.

Nina also has a significant tenure at KAR Global, where they held roles such as ADESA Release Manager, AFC IT Release Manager, and Application Development Manager. These positions allowed their to develop expertise in release management, application development, and team management.

Nina Williams has a diverse educational background that includes both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Nina earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Operations and Business Information Systems from Howard University, which they attended from 1985 to 1990. In 2018, they pursued further education at Purdue Global and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in an unspecified field of study in 2020. Most recently, they enrolled at the University of Phoenix in 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a general focus.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Nina has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Nina completed the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) program offered by Scrum Alliance in February 2019. Nina also acquired the ITIL Foundation certification from Pink Elephant, although the specific date is not provided. Furthermore, they hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential from the Project Management Institute, however, the date of acquisition is unknown.
