Eric Billet

Eric Billet has over 19 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Eric is currently employed at NextGen Federal Systems as a Principal Software Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Parsons Corporation for 6 years where they held the role of Software Engineer, working on various projects including the design, development, and support of Air Force CIDNE systems. Eric also contributed to the design and development of SATA software for USMC, as well as the integration of index services like Solr and ElasticSearch. Before Parsons Corporation, Eric worked at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Software Engineer for 6 years. Eric also has experience as a Teaching/Research Assistant at the College of William and Mary and as an IT Specialist/Consultant at Convoy Inc. Eric started their career as a Computer Science Lab Assistant at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Eric then earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Mount Vernon Nazarene University from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from William & Mary, which they completed from 2006 to 2008.
