Jonathan Yasurek

Jonathan Yasurek has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Jonathan started their career in 2005 as a Software Engineer Intern at Ultra Electronics - ProLogic, where they implemented a JREAP-C parser in C++ and developed a GUI component for Link-16 data translation. Jonathan then worked as an Associate Engineer/Scientist, contributing to the design and implementation of a Command and Control suite with Link-16 capabilities.

In 2011, Jonathan advanced to the role of Engineer/Scientist at the same company, where they developed stand-alone .NET service components for a project called JTTOCC, providing Eglin AFB with a visual display utilizing Link-16, FAA, and TENA data sources.

From 2014 to 2017, Jonathan served as a Senior Engineer/Scientist at Ultra Electronics - ProLogic, taking on the role of Technical and Development lead for the Remote ReKey project. Jonathan utilized Java and C++ technology to provide remote cryptographic rekeying capability for defense customers.

In 2017, Jonathan joined NextGen Federal Systems as a Senior System Engineer and eventually was promoted to the role of Principal Software Engineer in July 2020.

Jonathan Yasurek attended Saint Vincent College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer and Information Sciences.
