Gene Owens

Gene Owens has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Starting as the Director of Telecom Sales and Operations Support at RTS Associates in 2008, they then moved on to work as a Project Manager at Ericsson in 2012. Owens later transitioned to PM&A as an OSP Operations Manager in 2015 before joining DISH Network as a Transport Specialist II in 2021. Currently, they serve as the Director of Fiber Engineering at NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company, where they are involved in providing state-of-the-art telecom engineering and deployment solutions for various networks.

Gene Owens completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Oglethorpe University from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Georgia Southern University from 1989 to 1992.
