Susan Goldberger has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Susan is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at The Burning Glass Institute since March 2022, where they manage research projects focused on the future of work and strategies to promote economic mobility and equity. Previously, Susan co-founded NextGen Talent in 2019, where they served as the Co-Founder and Data Product Manager. At NextGen Talent, they managed online tools designed to empower students in making informed decisions about their postsecondary education.
Before that, Susan worked at Burning Glass Technologies from 2010 to 2021, where they held two roles. Susan initially served as a Senior Product Advisor from January 2016 to February 2021, providing strategic advice on product development, data science, and sales. Later, they became the Director of Education and Career Advancement Services from September 2010 to December 2015, leading the launch and growth of a new education product division and playing a key role in designing web-based products for the higher education and K-12 markets.
Prior to their time at Burning Glass Technologies, Susan had an extensive tenure at Jobs for the Future from March 1991 to August 2010. Susan held the position of VP of Planning and Venture Development, where they led the development and expansion of innovative educational and workforce training programs for underserved populations. Susan also led research projects to evaluate program effectiveness and collaborated with various teams to secure funding and establish strategic partnerships.
