Bob Falconer

Bob has had a long and successful career in the telecoms sector. From 2003 to 2018 he was the CEO of Gamma Communications plc, successfully growing that business from near start-up to a market cap of over £750m, following a successful listing on AIM in 2014. Prior to Gamma, Bob was a director of Racal Telecom and was a key part of the team that acquired the privatised assets of British Rail Telecom in 1996 and sold the expanded business to Global Crossing for £1bn in 1999. His earlier career was as global telecoms manager for ICI (prior to the demerger of Zeneca – now AstraZeneca). He has a background in telcoms R&D, is a Fellow of the IET and is a graduate of Heriot-Watt University.
