Yavuz Tokgoz has worked in various roles in several companies. Yavuz started their career with Clearmesh Networks as a Senior Networking & Software Engineer from July 2005 to June 2007. Following that, they joined NextWave Wireless Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2007 to March 2009. Yavuz then worked as an Embedded Linux Consultant at Cohu Electronics from July 2009 to October 2009. Yavuz's next role was at Qualcomm, where they served as a Staff Software Engineer from October 2009 to November 2015. Finally, they joined Nextivity in December 2015 in the position of Chief Architect, Cloud Software, where they are currently employed.
Yavuz Tokgoz pursued their education in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Yavuz received their Ph.D. from UC San Diego between 2000 and 2005. Prior to that, they earned their M.S. degree in the same field from UC San Diego, completing it between 1998 and 2000. Yavuz began their academic journey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Bilkent University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998.
