Keng Lim

CEO and Founder at NextLabs

Keng Lim has a long history of work experience in the tech industry. Keng began their career in 1991 as a Software Engineer at Oracle. In 1992, they moved to Lotus Development Corporation/Approach Software as a Software Architect, where they developed the first desktop database management software for Windows. In 1994, they founded Kiva Software, a Java Application Server pioneer and the first company to bring the Application Server product to market. In 1997, Kiva Software was acquired by Netscape, where Lim served as GM and VP of Web and Application Server Infrastructure. In 1999, Lim founded two companies, Sygate Technologies, where they served as Chairman of the Board, and Escalate, Inc, where they served as CEO and Founder. Finally, in 2004, Lim founded NextLabs, Inc., where they currently serve as CEO and Founder.

Keng Lim attended Ohio Northen University from 1987 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science and Civil Engineering double major. Keng then went on to Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1991, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Intelligent Engineering System.
