Wijayanga Wijekoon

Wijayanga Wijekoon has worked in the software engineering industry since 2015. Wijayanga began their career at Findmyfare.com as a Software Engineer Trainee in 2015. In 2016, they worked as an Associate Engineer at Virtusa Pvt Ltd and as an Associate Software Engineer at CodeGen International. In 2019, they joined Wiley as a Software Engineer and then moved to Avanseus as a Senior Software Engineer in 2022. Currently, they are employed at NextLabs as a Senior Software Engineer.

Wijayanga Wijekoon obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Information and Communication Technology from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, they attended Central College, Anuradhapura from 2000 to 2008, where they obtained a High School degree in Combined Maths (Combined Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and General English). Wijayanga Wijekoon has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn and Udemy, including Apache Kafka Essential Training, Balancing Work and Life, Docker for Developers, Learning MongoDB, Learning Ubuntu Desktop, Nail Your Java Interview, Spring: Framework in Depth, Parallel and Concurrent Programming with Java 1, Git Essential Training, Learning Linux Command Line, Elasticsearch Essential Training, Spring Boot 1.0 Essential Training, Functional Programming with Java, How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit, Java Memory Management, Writing Formal Business Letters and Emails, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate. Wijayanga also obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021.
