Mark Upson is the founder and managing partner of NextPath Advisors. Prior to this, they served as president of Changepoint from January 2015 to May 2016.

Before Changepoint, Upson was the president and CEO of Scout Analytics from January 2006 to December 2014. Scout Analytics was acquired by ServiceSource in 2014.

From January 2003 to December 2006, Upson was the president and CEO of PureEdge. PureEdge was acquired by IBM in 2006.

Upson served as the SVP Sales & General Manager, Americas at Onyx Software from January 1996 to December 2002.

From January 1994 to December 1995, Upson was the GM, Networking Products and Senior Director, Marketing at Wall Data.

Upson began their career at IBM in 1983, where they held various positions including Business Unit Executive from 1983 to 1994.

Mark Upson has a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech, where they graduated Cum Laude.
