Robert van der Mast

Robert van der Mast has a diverse work experience in the technology and travel industry. Robert currently serves on the Advisory Board of Booking.com, focusing on technology and product development. Prior to that, they held the position of CTO at NextPax.com BV, where they played a pivotal role in developing the PaxGenerator GDS, a leading property exchange platform for the vacation rental industry. Additionally, they were the owner of World Media Development, and served as the Technical Director at Villa Vacant BV, a prominent online holiday home intermediary. Robert also worked as a freelance web developer before venturing into full-time roles.

Robert van der Mast obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business mathematics and informatics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2008. Robert then went on to complete a Master's Degree in the same field at VU Amsterdam from 2008 to 2010. Robert also holds additional certifications, including an ICAO Language Proficiency Endorsement English - Level 6 and a Private Pilot License, both obtained in April 2013 from the Civil Aviation Authority Netherlands (JAR-FCL). Additionally, they are a Zend Certified Engineer, having obtained this certification in November 2006 from Zend | The PHP Company.
