Artie Lopez

Artie Lopez has a long and varied work experience. Artie began their career in 2008 as Business Manager at mTouche Technology Berhad. In 2010, they were appointed Country Manager for Interchan Corporation, where they handled all aspects of the company's operations in the Philippines. In 2011, they joined Ayannah Information Systems, Inc. as Head of Mobile Products and Services. Later that year, they became Country Manager for Bubble Motion Pte. Ltd., where they built the company's Philippine business from scratch. In 2017, Artie co-organized Ignite, the largest international innovation conference in the Philippines. In 2018, they became Founding Board Member and Startup Screener for MAIN.ph. In 2015, Artie co-founded Brainsparks, the first and only founder-focused incubator in the Philippines. Artie also joined First Asia Venture Capital Inc. as VP of High Impact Investments and Seedstars as an Ambassador and Mentor. In 2021, Artie co-founded NextPay (YC W21) and has been advising and coaching the team since 2019.

Artie Lopez obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from De La Salle University in 2002. Artie attended De La Salle Santiago Zobel from 1985 to 1997. In 2020, they completed an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management. In 2020, they also obtained an Angel University by Jason Calacanis certificate from LAUNCH. In 2022, they obtained a Venture Leader Scholarship from Quest Ventures.
