Mr. Moosa is the President & Chief Financial Officer at Avenir Senior Living, a healthcare company building, managing and operating seniors’ retirement residences and memory care communities in the United States and Canada. Farooq has 20+ years of work experience in investment banking, asset management, equity and debt capital markets, investment fund administration and wealth management. Specialization in originating, structuring, marketing, and raising public and private new issue capital. Mr. Moosa brings a strong knowledge in dealing with capital markets regulators, corporate board members, conducting due diligence and managing risk in the financial services sector. Mr. Moosa has a strong understanding of all types of securities / asset classes including public and private equity, debt, derivatives, currencies, real estate, infrastructure, and commodities (sector agnostic) across the corporate capital structure, with proven relationships with mass retail / high-net worth, family offices and institutional investors across North America.
