RC Johnson is an experienced cybersecurity and technology professional currently serving as Executive Director of Cybersecurity & Technology Controls at JPMorganChase since June 2024. Johnson also contributes as an Advisor at NextPlayU, focusing on assisting former college and professional athletes in their career transitions. Previously, Johnson held various leadership positions at PayPal from 2014 to 2024, including Director of Cyber Fraud Defense, where the emphasis was on proactive threat detection and mitigating fraud risks. Johnson has a comprehensive educational background with a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and a BS in Computer Science from Northern Michigan University. Prior athletic experience includes being a Greco-Roman wrestling resident athlete at the United States Olympic Training Center.
