Sol Hutson

Sol Hutson is the Head of Business Development, Foundation Solutions at Nextpower, a position they have held since 2026. Prior to this, they served as SVP of Business & Corporate Development at Nextracker Inc. from 2022 to 2026, and held multiple leadership roles at Flex, including GM of Flex Lighting Solutions, where they executed a successful business turnaround. Sol gained experience in corporate development with significant projects involving acquisitions and held various positions at Nortel Networks and Flextronics, focusing on energy-related products and international operations. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria and an Electronic Technologist Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
