Kento Obata

Kento Obata has been working in the tech industry since 2015. Kento started as a Software Engineer at Nextremer Co., Ltd. in 2015 and held the role for two years. In 2017, they moved to Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. and worked as a Data Analyst. In 2018, they joined Recruit Group as a Data Scientist, a role they still hold today.

Kento Obata obtained their Bachelor's degree in Inorganic Materials Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology between 2011 and 2015. Kento then pursued a Master's degree in Material Engineering and Material Science from Tokyo University of Technology between 2015 and 2018. Prior to that, Kento attended Fukushimano High School between 2008 and 2011. In addition to their educational qualifications, Kento has obtained several certifications, including Kaggle Competition Master from Kaggle in December 2020, Convolutional Neural Networks from Coursera in May 2019, Data Structures from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2016, Algorithmic Toolbox from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016, and Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in June 2016.
