Lina Freitas

Polina Freitas is an accomplished professional in operations and research management, currently serving as Associate Director of Operations at NextRNA Therapeutics since June 2022, previously holding the position of Senior Operations Manager. Prior experience includes Senior Manager of Facilities and Operations at Apic Bio, Inc., and Laboratory Manager roles at Schepens Eye Research Institute and Monaghan Lab. Polina's early career involved research and teaching assistantship at Northeastern University, focusing on spinal cord regeneration, along with an internship in the fMRI lab at N.P. Bechtereva Institute of the Human Brain. Polina holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Northeastern University, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Cognitive Science from Bard College and Saint-Petersburg State University.
