Steven Neier

Steven Neier is a seasoned professional in venture capital and biopharma, currently serving as Principal at Binney Street Capital, the first venture fund of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, focusing on investments in startups tied to its intellectual property. As a Co-Founder of both NextRNA Therapeutics, which innovates in the non-coding RNA space, and Microbial Machines, which develops engineered bacteria for disease detection and treatment, Steven demonstrates a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Prior roles include Scientific Program Manager at Dana-Farber and scientific consulting at QuantumCyte, where contributions advanced research and commercialization efforts. Steven earned a Ph.D. in Immunology from Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Union College.
