Oded Margalit

Oded Margalit is a computer software professional specializing in machine learning, optimization, formal methods, and cyber security. They served as the CTO of the Cyber Security Innovation Center at Citi from 2020 to 2023 and are currently the Head Scientist at NextSilicon. Oded has been an adjunct professor at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev since 2018, teaching courses and supervising graduate students. They are also a judge for IEEE programming competitions since 2008 and the founder of CodeGuru, overseeing various coding challenges. Oded’s extensive programming knowledge includes languages such as Python, Java, and Fortran.
