Wade Hunter

Wade Hunter is an experienced HPC Applications Engineer currently working at NextSilicon since June 2022. Previous roles include Software Engineer and Deployment Specialist at SVT Robotics, Information Technology Consultant at Marathon Consulting, and Software Engineering Technician at Old Dominion University Research Foundation, where work focused on the automation of cryo-electron tomography artifact segmentation. Wade has a background in developing large-scale .NET/SQL products at Atlas Systems, Inc., and contributed to various data science projects during a tenure at NASA, including NLP applications and high-performance computing for additive manufacturing. A cofounder of Gyroid, Wade possesses a comprehensive educational background with dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Old Dominion University. Prior military service as an Electronics Technician with the US Navy solidified strong technical skills.
