Catherine Peglow

Catherine Peglow has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Catherine is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at nextSource, where they lead the human resources functions and oversees the compensation program. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Human Resources at nextSource.

Before joining nextSource, Catherine worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they served as the Contingency Workforce Program Manager and Procurement Systems Program Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for managing workforce resources, supplier diversity program, and integrating sustainability into procurement policies.

Catherine also has experience in the non-profit sector, serving as the Executive Director and General Counsel at North Carolina PTA. In this role, they provided guidance to the Board of Directors, managed the association's finances, and coordinated various programs and events.

Earlier in their career, Catherine worked at the North Carolina Bar Association as the Director of Continuing Legal Education and Director of Membership & Marketing. Catherine also had a role at Special Counsel, where they focused on business development and placement efforts in the legal field.

Catherine's career began at Volvo Financial Services, where they served as an Associate General Counsel and managed litigation matters, collections team, and real estate transactions. Catherine also worked as an Associate at Bolton Law Offices, where they handled client consultations, court pleadings, and attended hearings.

Catherine Peglow has a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Penn State Dickinson Law, which they earned from 1989 to 1992. Catherine also obtained a B.A. degree in English and Political Science from Louisiana State University from 1985 to 1988. In addition, they completed a Junior Year Abroad program in English at the University of Strathclyde from 1987 to 1988. Catherine Peglow received an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Duke University in 2014. Catherine holds an active license to practice law from the North Carolina State Bar.
