Joshua Shockley

Joshua Shockley has a long and varied work history. In 2010, they began working as a Production Technician at KTUL, a Graduate Student at the BEA Festival of Media Arts, and a Producer/Videographer/Animator/Editor at Gaylord Hall Productions. In 2011, they added a role as Producer/Director/Cameraman/Editor at the New Media Institute. In 2012, they began working as a Freelance Non-union Worker at Fox Sports Southwest. In 2013, they were hired as a Broadcasting Intern at Ackerman McQueen and as Head of Video Production and Creative Director/Senior Video Production Editor/Animator at NextThought. In 2017, they began working as an Adjunct Professor at the Gaylord College of Journalism. Joshua also continues to work as a Jib Operator for Soonervision at home football games.

Joshua Shockley received their Bachelor's Degree in Journalism/Broadcasting from the University of Oklahoma in 2010 and their Master's Degree in Broadcast Management from the same university in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Tulsa Community College.
