Sridhar Mitta

Sridhar Mitta is the founder and managing director of NEXTWEALTH ENTREPRENEURS PRIVATE LIMITED. Sridhar has over 38 years of experience in the technology industry, including stints as the chief technology officer and president of technology divisions for Wipro Limited and e4e Labs Pvt Ltd. Dr. Mitta was the first R&D Manager for Wipro Information Technology Limited since its inception in 1980. While they held the reigns, Wipro achieved their highest market capitalization in India. Sridhar was responsible for taking captive R&D and transforming into a business on its own called Global R&D offering product engineering services to renowned global companies like Intel, Sun Microsystems, Tandem Computers, Cisco, NCR, etc. Pioneered ‘Lab on Hire’ concept for multinational companies to have their product development done by Wipro. In 2009, Dr. Mitta established e4e Inc. along with K, B. Chandrasekhar and Som Das in Santa Clara, California and Bengaluru, India with the objective of making the famed Silicon Valley infrastructure accessible to Indian entrepreneurs without them needing to move to the United States. e4e Labs, a fully owned subsidiary of e4e Inc., provided funding, incubation facilities, mentoring, marketing support etc. under one roof.

Sridhar Mitta earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University. Sridhar then went on to earn a Master of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Oklahoma State University.
