Lauren Potter

Lauren Potter has a diverse work experience in the marketing, fundraising, communications, and hospitality industries. Lauren began their career in 2011 working as Wait Staff at the Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club. In 2013, they took a role as Missions and Communications Specialist with World Changers- Lifeway Christian Resources. Following this, they worked as a Virtual and Social Media Marketing Assistant with G Smith Marketing in 2014. In 2015, Lauren began working with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore as Digital and Social Media Coordinator and Philanthropy Assistant. In 2019, they took a role as Campaign Manager with the United Way of South Hampton Roads. Since 2020, Lauren has been working as a Freelance/Contract Marketing and Nonprofit Development, assisting local nonprofit organizations with marketing and fundraising efforts. Most recently, they have accepted a role as Digital Marketing Specialist with Nexus Direct, beginning in 2023.

Lauren Potter received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communication from Old Dominion University between 2011 and 2015. Lauren has also obtained three additional certifications: Social Media Marketing and SEO from HubSpot Academy in September 2022, and a Google Ads Search Certification from Google in November 2021.
