Timothy Hoekenga

Timothy Hoekenga is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and electrical engineering, particularly in the Power & Energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Nexus Engineering Group, LLC since June 2020, Timothy oversees full project life-cycle engagement for high-voltage substation projects. Prior experience includes a role as Engineering Project Manager at Middough Inc., where Timothy managed a multi-discipline team and significantly increased client account revenue. Additional roles at Sargent & Lundy involved managing large-scale utility projects and field commissioning, while earlier experience included power systems engineering at R.T. Patterson and HVAC control systems design at Johnson Controls. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is pursuing an Executive MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, expected to complete in May 2025.
